Teaser stats -- Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, newly named SEC Player of the Week, is the first Wildcat to score at least 20 points and grab at least 10 rebounds against a top 5 opponent since Scott Padgett in 1998 vs. Maryland. Anthony Davis, newly minted SEC Freshman of the Week, with his 18 points, 10 rebounds, and six blocks, became the only player in the nation with three games producing at least 15 points, 10 rebounds, and five blocks.

I find it particularly interesting
that Jones puts up his best rebounding numbers while his injured finger is hampering his scoring. This could be very good for the rest of the year if he is now focusing on the rest of his game. The shots will start falling later.
