Who invented this thing anyway?
Matt Jones???……lol

No idea.

Disingenuous ';-)
Glenn, It’s obviously a paid XFINITY promotion which is not afiliated with KSR, at least as yet.
What I find interesting is how it got promoted on this site. It isn’t on any of my other SB-Nation sites, so it isn’t clear whether it is a SB-Nation sponsor you have the ability to opt in or out on, or if the option lies with XFINITY.
If it’s your option Glenn, what enticed you to select it and if it was XFINITY’s choice, can you shed some light on why they chose ASOB? Your “No idea” response suggests you had no real choice in the promotional placement and if true, I can’t imagine that sits right with you. Sometimes you just have to go along to get along.

TW, there are articles like these all over SBNation.....I am assuming he didn't have any choice.....
the shot at Jones was all mine…..lol…..he’s not fond of me, I don’t think much of his attitude….so it’s about even….lol

I just checked my SB-Nation blogs again and I now see RTT has this promotion as well.
But, as of now, ASOB and RTT are the only two of the 10 SB Nation blogs I follow that have it. Generally, you’d think either the option would be offered to every blog to participate in the promotion pool by posting as Glenn did or XFINITY would get to pick and choose which blogs they want to participate – and they chose ASOB (and RTT, but who cares about that). If Glenn had the option to participate or not and chose to do so, I can only think it was a reasonable business decision and koodoos to him.
On the other hand, if XFINITY specifically chose ASOB, then it becomes an issue of our being able to bask in Glenn’s reflected glory, sort of like when a friend gets an award, then the basis under which the award was given becomes important to we baskers – why did XFINITY choose ASOB?

No glory.
Just an ad campaign. That’s all. No hidden messages if you read it backwards. :-)
Glenn Logan - February 10, 2012
It's like one of the ads on the side of the page.
It’s not like it is going to fool anyone. Part of doing business. Remember to vote for me.

It's supposed to be on all of the SB Nation college sites.
And in fact, I know it is.
It’s an advertising post. We run them. That is all.
Glenn Logan - February 10, 2012
They've done these on other sites earlier in the year (or maybe late last year)
There was one on Athletics Nation a while back.

GriffinRC - February 10, 2012
so, which one are you?
the brainiac with the encyclopedia of stats, the former jock who knows the game inside out, or the corporate type who gets the marketing side of the business?

Although XFINITY didn't say it, ...
what they want is the person with the greatest number of Twitter followers.
TeamWeaver - February 10, 2012
oh, well if that is the case
that would be a shame because that would mean that one of the Kardashian’s could win and I’m not really sure that they can even write. Oh dear.
BigSkyCat - February 10, 2012
Despite our constant harping on the issue, ...
illiteracy for some just doesn’t seem to be the handicap it would be for you or me.
TeamWeaver - February 11, 2012
Don't let Natalie P win just because she's cute!
Vote for me!
Hey this is no popularity contest. Right? Right!???!!
GriffinRC - February 10, 2012
Dang it.
GriffinRC - February 10, 2012
