The University of Kentucky has launched a website which promotes seven Wildcat basketball players for postseason honors. The UK release reads like this:
As the 2011-12 men's basketball regular season quickly comes to a close, postseason awards balloting has begun. With several players being considered for postseason acclaim, the University of Kentucky has launched a website dedicated to consideration for postseason awards among several Wildcat players.
UK has developed pages for seven athletes, with each page dedicated to his specific accomplishments throughout the season. The pages feature tidbits, video highlights, stats and more on each player.
To go to the site, click here.
The site is slick, clean, and extremely user friendly.
With this website, Kentucky has taken player promotion to the next level, and is just another example of the UK basketball program being a players first program.

Very informative-
And well done. Whoever put this together did a fantastic job. Just another reason to come to UK… (somebody send this to N. Noel) thanks for the post Ken…

One more bullet in the gun.
I wonder if Cal thought of this or someone else??
If its him, they are going to have to build a bigger athletic department for everything he comes up with.

Nice site...
I wonder if Eloy Vargas feels the same way?
trross1200 - February 21, 2012
In all fairness
what could they put on there for Eloy? “Cut from the Dominican Republic National Team”? Considering that he was in junior college two years ago, being in a position to play a supporting role on a national championship contender ain’t too bad, website or no.

Thanks for the updates and especially the pix. I suppose it’s alright to save these pix for myself. If not let me know and I’ll delete them.

Now I have something to watch and rewatch until game time.

Thanks for the heads up

The only highlight that was really missing was Miller's non-ESPN Statue of Liberty Throw Down
sweasyf - February 21, 2012
Have to second that!
Where is Miller’s monster dunk from last Saturday? My only guess is that it was to late to make the cut.

I thought exactly the same thing
when I watched Miller’s clips. Where was the highlight of the explosive dunk? I expected that to end the video.
By the way, may the seconds leading up to Miller’s big jam be the last time the cats trail for the rest of the season! Go Cats!
rdslon01 - February 21, 2012
Don't be surprised if you see it later.
It takes a while to put this together. Once it’s together you can bet they will constantly update it for the rest of the year and Miller’s jam will be included.

Cool!

Awesome
Sometimes lost in how these innovations affect recruiting is how things like this keep the fanbase engaged and excited. In my estimation an involved fanbase is our athletic departments biggest asset and a website such as this is perfect in fueling the proverbial fire.

kywineman - February 21, 2012
Thanks Guys
Is he a small batch or single barrel kinda guy?
FourRosesSB - February 21, 2012
How about lots of both?
GoLightning - February 21, 2012
Single.
Not sure if he likes it neat or on the rocks.
kywineman - February 21, 2012
Single Barrel......
at least as many of his comments about it that I can discern say…..lol
Greg Alan Edwards - February 21, 2012
Small batch for me....
although I would shake a stick at neither.
FourRosesSB - February 21, 2012
I think that single barrel is smoother
but both are outstanding.
kywineman - February 22, 2012
hmmm,
well, since we are all taking guesses and I don’t want to be left out I will venture one too. Glenn likes Small Batch. There.
