Sad indeed..

of all the players I tutored at UK, I remember Jim the best. I am sure I learned as much about basketball from him as he learned about psychology from me. My condolences and prayers to his friends and family at our loss.

Thoughts and prayers out to Jim's family......

Hopefully a new Wildcat was born last night to take his place. I hate losing anyone in the BBN.

Not like Jim

I knew Jim pretty good. He was married to my mom for 10 years. They split up a few years ago. I found out yesterday what happened to him and i just have a hard time believing he did this. He would be the last person i would think would take thier own life. Anyway, its very sad. Jim was a good person and his kids are great. I feel bad for them and for Jim. No one should have to go out like that. Keep him and his family in your prayers.

So sorry for your loss.....
Profoundly Sad

Played against Jim once in HS and knew him at UK. Great guy. This is a real bummer.

He And Mills Started At G On 1970 # 1 Ranked Cats

Filled in very well for loss of Mike Casey to injury that year.

I remember listening to those UK games when Jim played. Terrible loss.

I think within all of us is a tortured soul that is wanting release at times - life can really be tough

Rest in peace Jim
